Bronze is the MOST popular social program with the person that wants to get out on the floor right away. They are considered fun to dance with in all dance situations. This is our most popular level of dance. It will develop free movement around the floor, much more variety, technique, footwork, posture, understanding music and your first introduction to styling. It is the fun point in dancing when you don't have to think about anything but enjoying your partner and having fun yourself.
Silver is distinguished by versatility and style in all the popular dances. This level if dancing is for those that are ready and wanting to stand out. Silver level dancers have flashy movements, and use the continuity style of movement, which make a couple glide around the dance floor. Styling makes the standard develop an individual character. Technique is very high important to develop continuity movement. This standard of dancing is the beginning of showy and flashy dancing to be used mainly on the ballroom floor. A silver dancer is definitely noticed on a crowded floor.
Gold standard of dancing is for the stars. Strictly a standard for the hobby dancer or the person who wants to do exhibitions. Its intricate patterns are only to be used when both people really know what they are doing. Choreography, styling, technique, and showmanship are necessities in this standard. This cannot be used on a crowed floor. The smoothness and control make this a beautiful standard to sit and watch. This is the closest to a semi-pro level of dancing.
